This 20 _foot Haulmark trailer is equipped with various supplies in case a mass disaster would strike the community.  The trailer will be serving the counties of Pierce, St. Croix, & Polk.  The trailer also has the capabilities of being a incident command trailer and it is equipped with two base station consoles capable of full dispatch and twelve portables. The trailer carries enough supplies to treat up to 400 patients of varying degrees of illnesses. This trailer will be used at various events for first aid/command around the Tri-county area.  The trailer may be requested at any point in time and will be staffed with 1 to 3 EMT's/FR's.  The amount of time to get the trailer mobile ranges from 15 minutes to 1 hour. This involves going through an intense checklist to make sure everything is equipped in the trailer and properly functional. The trailer is equipped with a generator so it can be used at any time of the day or any location.  It is equipped with 2 mounted and 2 mobile flood lights for external lighting.  The trailer is also temperature controlled with both air and heat. Other equipment inside are two large oxygen tanks which run our 2 multilators.  Oxygen can be delivered to 20 patients at one time with each patient having a regulator to control the amount of oxygen delivered.  The trailer was paid for by numerous donations and grants from the community and from the state of Wisconsin.

This is a look at the inside of the trailer as it was being built. The front of the trailer is equipped with dispatching capabilities and dry eraser boards so that plans and information can be written out so the incident command person knows where everyone and everything is located.

Our staff operate the trailer as a command unit during River Falls Days July, 2003. River Falls Police Department also utilized this trailer for police business during the four day event. The trailer was placed in a centralized location to make it accessible for all the departments using it.
