River Falls Ambulance is very
progressive in providing high quality advanced life support care to the
residents in which we serve.
Below are just some of the advancements we are currently doing or
plan on doing to improve our service. Being one of the fasted growing communities in the
state percentage wise, we need to keep on top of our ever-increasing
demands for ambulance services.
Current Plans
River
Falls Ambulance has just upgraded to the Paramedic level
on January 1, 2007. The upgrade comes from constant increase in 911 calls
and the demand for interfacility transfers from our local hospital.
With
the constant increase in 911 related calls, our service
is now expanding our membership to hire additional qualified
personnel. Anyone interested in applying please visit our
applications page or download the
application
and return it to our service.
EMT-Basic classes are run annually starting
in August and ending in December. The class runs two
nights per week usually from 6-10pm.
Future Plans
River Falls Ambulance
is currently working on feasibility studies to see if additional stations
are needed and their geographical locations. As our community
continues to grow with industry and population, we need to look at future
expansion of our EMS department to ensure we are providing the best
response to all residents we serve.
